PUBLIC LAW 101-510—NOV. 5, 1990 104 STAT. 1797 (d) OCCUPANCY.—The Department of the Army shall vacate the Northside Army Reserve Training Center upon beneficial occupancy of Maple Lane School. (e) DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY.—The exact acreage and legal description of the properties to be conveyed under this section shall be determined by surveys acceptable to the Secretary. The cost of such survey shall be borne by Civic Foundation, Incorporated, or by the City of South Bend, or both. (f) ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS. —The Secretary may require such additional terms and conditions as the Secretary considers appropriate to carry out the provisions of this section and to protect the interests of the United States. SEC. 2833. LAND EXCHANGE, LEXINGTON PARK, MARYLAND (a) IN GENERAL.— Subject to subsections (b) through (d), the Secretary of the Navy may convey to the County of St. Mary's, Mary- land, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to approximately 32 acres of unimproved real property consisting of two severable parcels at the Naval Air Test Center, Patuxent River, Maryland. (b) CONSIDERATION. —In consideration for the conveyance authorized by subsection (a), the County shall be required to convey to the United States approximately 7.2 acres of real property, including improvements thereon, known as the former Frank Knox Elementary School, Lexington Park, Maryland. (c) PAYMENT OF EXCESS INTO SPECIAL ACCOUNT. — If the fair market value of the land and improvements conveyed by the Secretary under subsection (a) exceeds the fair market value of the land conveyed to the United States by the County, the County shall pay an amount equal to the difference to the United States, and the Secretary shall deposit such amount into the special account established pursuant to section 204(h) of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 (40 U.S.C. 485(h)). (d) DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY.— The exact acreage and legal description of any property to be conveyed or received under this section shall be determined by surveys satisfactory to the Secretary. The cost of such survey shall be borne by the County. (e) ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS. —The Secretary may require such additional terms and conditions in connection with the conveyance under this section as the Secretary determines appropriate to protect the interests of the United States. SEC. 2834. LAND EXCHANGE AT MARINE CORPS FINANCE CENTER, KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI (a) AUTHORITY TO CONVEY.— Subject to subsections (b) through (e), the Secretary of the Navy may convey to the City of Kansas City, Missouri, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to a parcel of land consisting of approximately 12 acres located near the family housing area of the Marine Corps Finance Center, Kansas City, Missouri, together with the improvements on such land. (b) CONSIDERATION. —In consideration for the conveyance by the Secretary under subsection (a), the City of Kansas City shall convey to the United States approximately 10 acres of land adjacent to the family housing area of the Marine Corps Finance Center, Kansas City, Missouri. (c) PAYMENT OF EXCESS INTO SPECIAL ACCOUNT. — I f the fair market value of the land and improvements conveyed by the Secretary
