Aug. 1.1990 ADJOURNMENT PROVISIONS—SENATE AND [s. Con. Res. 142] ^ HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), That notwithstanding the provisions of section 132(a) of the Legislative Reorganization Act of 1946 (2 U.S.C. 198), as amended by section 461 of the Legislative Reorganization Act of 1970 (Public Law 91- 510; 84 Stat. 1193), the Senate and the House of Representatives shall not adjourn for a period in excess of three days, or adjourn sine die, until both Houses of Congress have adopted a concurrent resolution providing either for an adjournment (in excess of three days) to a day certain, or for adjournment sine die. Agreed to August 1, 1990. Aug. 3, 1990 UNITED STATES CAPITOL BROCHURE— [S. Con. Res. 118] SENATE PRINT Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), That a brochure describing the history, design, and functions of the United States Capitol as the seat of the legislative branch of the Government shall be printed as a Senate document, with appropriate illustrations and diagrams. In addition to the usual number, 250,000 copies of the brochure shall be printed for the use of the Senate and the House of Representatives, to be allocated as determined jointly by the Secretary of the Senate and the Clerk of the House of Representatives. Agreed to August 3, 1990. Aug. 4, 1990 ADJOURNMENT—HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES [H. Con. Res. 360] AND SENATE Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That when the House adjourns on the legislative day of Friday, August 3, 1990, it stand adjourned until 12 o'clock meridian on Wednesday, September 5, 1990, or until 12 o'clock meridian on the second day after Members are notified to reassemble pursuant to section 2 of this concurrent resolution, whichever occurs first; and that when the Senate recesses or adjourns on any day from Friday, August 3, 1990, to Friday, August 10, 1990, pursuant to a motion made by the Majority Leader, or his designee, it stand in recess or stand adjourned until 10 o'clock ante meridiem on Monday, September 10, 1990, or until 12 o'clock meridian on the second day after
