Res. 142] ^ HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), That notwithstanding the provisions of section 132(a) of the Legislative Reorganization Act of 1946 (2 U.S.C. 198), as amended by section 461 of the Legislative Reorganization Act of 1970 (Public Law 91- 510; 84 Stat. 1193), the Senate and the House of Representatives shall not adjourn for a period in excess of three days, or adjourn sine die, until both Houses of Congress have adopted a concurrent resolution providing either for an adjournment (in excess of three days) to a day certain, or for adjournment sine die. Res. 118] SENATE PRINT Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), That a brochure describing the history, design, and functions of the United States Capitol as the seat of the legislative branch of the Government shall be printed as a Senate document, with appropriate illustrations and diagrams. In addition to the usual number, 250,000 copies of the brochure shall be printed for the use of the Senate and the House of Representatives, to be allocated as determined jointly by the Secretary of the Senate and the Clerk of the House of Representatives.
