NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION FLEET MODERNIZATION, SHIPBUILDING AND CONVERSION For expenses necessary for the construction, acquisition, leasing, or conversion of vessels, including related equipment, for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, $33,200,000, to remain available until expended. CONSTRUCTION For construction, repair, and modification of facilities and minor construction of new facilities and additions to existing facilities, and for facility planning and design and land acquisition not otherwise provided for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, $34,917,000, to remain available until expended. OPERATIONS, RESEARCH, AND FACILITIES (INCLUDING TRANSFERS OF FUNDS) For necessary expenses of activities authorized by law for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, including acquisition, maintenance, operation, and hire of aircraft;.439 commissioned officers on the active list; as authorized by 31 U.S.C. 1343 and 1344; construction of facilities, including initial equipment as authorized by 33 U.S.C. 883i; grants, contracts, or other payments to 33 USC 851.
