RURAL WATER AND WASTE DISPOSAL GRANTS For grants pursuant to sections 306(a)(2) and 306(a)(6) of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act, as amended (7 U.S.C. 1926), $350,000,000, to remain available until expended, pursuant to section 306(d) of the above Act: Provided, That these funds shall not be used for any purpose not specified in section 306(a) of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act. VERY LOW-INCOME HOUSING REPAIR GRANTS For grants to the very low-income elderly for essential repairs to dwellings pursuant to section 504 of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended, $12,500,000, to remain available until expended. RURAL HOUSING FOR DOMESTIC FARM LABOR For financial assistance to eligible nonprofit organizations for housing for domestic farm labor, pursuant to section 516 of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended (42 U.S.C. 1486), $11,000,000, to remain available until expended. MUTUAL AND SELF-HELP HOUSING For grants and contracts pursuant to section 523(b)(l)(A) of the Housing Act of 1949 (42 U.S.C. 1490c), $8,750,000. SUPERVISORY AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE GRANTS ' For grants pursuant to sections 509(g)(6) and 525 of the Housing Act of 1949, $2,500,000, to remain available until expended. RURAL COMMUNITY FIRE PROTECTION GRANTS For grants pursuant to section 7 of the Cooperative Forestry Assistance Act of 1978 (Public Law 95-313), $3,500,000 to fund up to 50 per centum of the cost of organizing, training, and equipping rural volunteer fire departments. COMPENSATION FOR CONSTRUCTION DEFECTS For compensation for construction defects as authorized by section 509(c) of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended, $500,000, to remain available until expended. RURAL HOUSING PRESERVATION GRANTS For grants for rural housing preservation as authorized by section 552 of the Housing and Urban-Rural Recovery Act of 1983 (Public Law 98-181), $23,000,000. RURAL DEVELOPMENT GRANTS For grants authorized under section 310B(c) (7 U.S.C. 1932) of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act to any qualified public or private nonprofit organization, $20,750,000: Provided, That
