SEC. 302. Section 401 of the Department of Defense Appropria- 105 Stat. 1168. tions Act, 1992 (Public Law 102-172) is hereby amended by inserting ", foundation" after the word "college" and inserting after "Provided" the following: 'That the Secretary of Defense shall review grants totalling $115,900,000 and specified previously in this title and shall award such amounts as he deems appropriate based on the potential contribution each proposed project may make to the national scientific and technical posture: Provided further". TITLE IV ENERGY AND WATER DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE—CIVIL DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS—CIVIL GENERAL EXPENSES (RESCISSION) Of the funds made available under this heading in Public Law 102-104, $500,000 are rescinded. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY GENERAL SCIENCE AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES (RESCISSION) Of the funds made available under this heading in Public Law 102-104, $3,350,000 are rescinded: Provided, That the amount for project 92-G-302, Fermilab main injector, is reduced to $11,650,000. DEPARTMENTAL ADMINISTRATION (RESCISSION) Of the funds made available under this heading in Public Law 102-104, $500,000 are rescinded.
