PUBLIC LAW 102-400—OCT. 7, 1992 106 STAT. 1955 Public Law 102-400 102d Congress An Act To amend the United States Commission on Civil Rights Act of 1983 to provide an authorization of appropriations. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the 'United States Commission on Civil Rights Authorization Act of 1992". SEC. 2. REAUTHORIZATION. Section 7 of the United States Commission on Civil Rights Act of 1983 (42 U.S.C. 1975e) is amended by adding at the end the following: "There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this Act $7,422,014 for fiscal year 1993, and an additional $850,000 for fiscal year 1993 to relocate the headquarters office. None of the sums authorized to be appropriated for fiscal year 1993 may be used to create additional regional offices.". Approved October 7, 1992.
