PUBLIC LAW 103-327—SEPT. 28, 1994 108 STAT. 2319 OFFICE OF INSPECTOR GENERAL For necessary expenses of the Office of Inspector General in carrying out the provisions of the Inspector General Act of 1978, as amended, $2,000,000. COURT OF VETERANS APPEALS SALARIES AND EXPENSES For necessary expenses for the operation of the United States Court of Vetersins Appeals as authorized by 38 U.S.C. sections 7251-7292, $9,429,000, to be available without regard to section 509 of this Act, of which not to exceed $790,000, to remain available until September 30, 1996, shall be available for the purpose of providing financial assistance as described, and in accordance with the process and reporting procedures set forth, under this head in Public Law 102-229. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE—CIVIL CEMETERIAL EXPENSES, ARMY SALARIES AND EXPENSES For necessary expenses, as authorized by law, for maintenance, operation, and improvement of Arlington National Cemetery and Soldiers' and Airmen's Home National Cemetery, including the purchase of two passenger motor vehicles for replacement only, and not to exceed $1,000 for official reception and representation expenses; $12,017,000, to remain available until expended. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT For research and development activities, including procurement of laboratory equipment and supplies; other operating expenses in support of research and development; and construction, alteration, repair, rehabilitation and renovation of facilities, not to exceed $75,000 per project; $350,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 1996: Provided, That not more than $55,000,000 of these funds shall be available for procurement of laboratory equipment, supplies, and other operating expenses in support of research and development. ABATEMENT, CONTROL, AND COMPLIANCE For abatement, control, and compliance activities, including hire of passenger motor vehicles; hire, maintenance, and operation of aircraft; purchase of reprints; library memberships in societies or associations which issue publications to members only or at a price to members lower than to subscribers who are not members; construction, alteration, repair, rehabilitation, and renovation of facilities, not to exceed $75,000 per project; and not to exceed $6,000 for official reception and representation expenses; $1,417,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 1996: Provided, That not more than $304,722,500 of these funds shall be available for operating expenses: Provided further. That none of
