Subtitle A—National Security Programs Authorizations SEC. 3101. WEAPONS ACTIVITIES. (a) IN GENERAL. —Funds are hereby authorized to be appropriated to the Department of Energy for fiscal year 2000 for weapons activities in carrying out programs necessary for national security in the amount of $4,489,995,000, to be allocated as follows: (1) STOCKPILE STEWARDSHIP. —Funds are hereby authorized to be appropriated to the Department of Energy for fiscal year 2000 for stockpile stewardship in carrying out weapons activities necessary for national security programs in the amount of $2,252,300,000, to be allocated as follows: (A) For core stockpile stewardship, $1,743,500,000, to be allocated as follows: (i) For operation and maintenance, $1,610,355,000. (ii) For plant projects (including maintenance, restoration, planning, construction, acquisition, modification of facilities, and the continuation of projects authorized in prior years, and land acquisition related thereto), $133,145,000, to be allocated as follows: Project OO-D-103, terascale simulation facility, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Livermore, California, $8,000,000.
