115 STAT. 1204 PUBLIC LAW 107-107—DEC. 28, 2001 (c) PEACEKEEPING OPERATIONS DEFINED.— For the purposes of this section: (1) The term "Bosnia peacekeeping operations" has the meaning given such term in section 1004(e) of the Strom Thurmond National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1999 (Public Law 105-261; 112 Stat. 2112). (2) The term "Kosovo peacekeeping operations"— (A) means the operation designated as Operation Joint Guardian and any other operation involving the participation of any of the Armed Forces in peacekeeping or peace enforcement activities in and around Kosovo; and (B) includes, with respect to Operation Joint Guardian or any such other operation, each activity that is directly related to the support of the operation. SEC. 1006. MAXIMUM AMOUNT FOR NATIONAL FOREIGN INTEL- LIGENCE PROGRAM. The total amount authorized to be appropriated for the National Foreign Intelligence Program for fiscal year 2002 is the sum of the following: (1) The total amount set forth for the National Foreign Intelligence Program for fiscal year 2002 in the message of the President to Congress transmitted by the President on June 27, 2001, and printed as House Document 107-92, captioned "Communication of the President of the United States Transmitting Requests for Fiscal Year 2002 Budget Amendments for the Department of Defense". (2) The total amount, if any, appropriated for the National Foreign Intelligence Program for fiscal year 2002 pursuant to the 2001 Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act for Recovery from and Response to Terrorist Attacks on the United States (Public Law 107-38; 115 Stat. 220-221). (3) The total amount, if any, appropriated for the National Foreign Intelligence Program for fiscal year 2002 in any law making supplemental appropriations for fiscal year 2002 that is enacted during the second session of the 107th Congress. 31 USC 3902 SEC. 1007. CLARIFICATION OF APPLICABILITY OF INTEREST PEN- note. ALTIES FOR LATE PAYMENT OF INTERIM PAYMENTS DUE UNDER CONTRACTS FOR SERVICES. Section 1010(d) of the Floyd D. Spence National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2001 (as enacted into law by Public Law 106-398; 114 Stat. 1654A-251) is amended by inserting before the period at the end of the first sentence the following: ", and shall apply with respect to interim payments that are due on or after such date under contracts entered into before, on, or after that date". 10 USC 2222 SEC. 1008. RELIABILITY OF DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE FINANCIAL note. STATEMENTS. DeadHne. (a) ANNUAL REPORT ON RELIABILITY. —(1) Not later than September 30 of each year but subject to subsection (f), the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the recipients specified in paragraph (3) a report on the reliability of the Department of Defense financial statements, including the financial statements of each component of the Department that is required to prepare a financial statement under section 3515(c) of title 31, United States Code.
