(3) Section 8(e)(1) of the Food Stamp Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 2017(e)(1)) is amended by striking "the last sentence of section 3(i)" and inserting "section 3(i)(5)". (4) Section 17(b)(l)(B)(iv)(III)(aa) of the Food Stamp Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 2026(b)(l)(B)(iv)(III)(aa)) is amended by striking "the last 2 sentences of section 3(i)" and inserting "paragraphs (4) and (5) of section 3(i)". SEC. 4113. REDEMPTION OF BENEFITS THROUGH GROUP LIVING ARRANGEMENTS. (a) IN GENERAL.—Section 10 of the Food Stamp Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 2019) is amended by inserting after the first sentence the following: "Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, a center, organization, institution, shelter, group living arrangement, or establishment described in that sentence may be authorized to redeem coupons through a financial institution described in that sentence if the center, organization, institution, shelter, group living arrangement, or establishment is equipped with 1 or more pointof-sale devices and is operating in an area in which an electronic benefit transfer system described in section 7(i) has been implemented.".
