MEMBERS’ REPRESENTATIONAL ALLOWANCES INCLUDING MEMBERS’ CLERK HIRE, OFFICIAL EXPENSES OF MEMBERS, AND OFFICIAL MAIL For Members’ representational allowances, including Members’ clerk hire, official expenses, and official mail, $521,195,000. COMMITTEE EMPLOYEES STANDING COMMITTEES, SPECIAL AND SELECT For salaries and expenses of standing committees, special and select, authorized by House resolutions, $114,299,000: Provided, That such amount shall remain available for such salaries and expenses until December 31, 2006. COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS For salaries and expenses of the Committee on Appropriations, $24,926,000, including studies and examinations of executive agen cies and temporary personal services for such committee, to be expended in accordance with section 202(b) of the Legislative Reorganization Act of 1946 and to be available for reimbursement to agencies for services performed: Provided, That such amount shall remain available for such salaries and expenses until December 31, 2006. 2 USC 31a–1 note.
