(D) The scope, purpose, and variability of existing definitions used by Federal, State, and local agencies with respect to elder abuse. (3) DURATION.—The study conducted under paragraph (1) shall be conducted for a period not to exceed 2 years. (b) REPORT.—Not later than 180 days after the completion of the study conducted under subsection (a)(1), the Secretary of Health and Human Services shall submit a report to the Committee on Finance of the Senate and the Committee on Ways and Means of the House of Representatives containing the findings of the study, together with recommendations on how to implement a uniform national database on elder abuse. (c) AUTHORIZATION.—There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this section, $500,000 for each of fiscal years 2007 and 2008. SEC. 406. TEMPORARY DUTY REDUCTIONS FOR CERTAIN COTTON SHIRTING FABRIC.

(a) CERTAIN COTTON SHIRTING FABRICS.— (1) IN GENERAL.—Subchapter II of chapter 99 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States is amended by inserting in numerical sequence the following new headings:
