and ‘‘( B ) an analysis of the report re q uired under paragraph ( 1 ) .’ ’. (e) D EFIN I T I O N S . —S ubsection (f) of section 2 22 8 of such title , as redesignated by subsection (b), is amended by adding at the end the follo w ing new paragraphs

‘‘( 4 ) T he term ‘budget’, with respect to a fiscal year, means the budget for that fiscal year that is submitted to C ongress by the P resident under section 11 05 (a) of title 3 1. ‘‘(5) The term ‘defense budget materials’, with respect to a fiscal year, means the materials submitted to Congress by the Secretary of Defense in support of the budget for that fiscal year.’’. (f) C L E R I CA LA M EN D MENT.—The table of sections at the begin - ning of chapter 131 of such title is amended by stri k ing the item relating to section 2228 and inserting the following new item: ‘ ‘ 2 22 8.Of f iceo f C o r ro s io nP o l ic ya n d O v ersi ght . ’ ’. SEC.372 . AUTHORI T YF OR D E P ART M E N T OF DEFENSE TO PRO V IDE SUPPORT FOR CERTAIN SPORTIN G EVENTS. (a) PRO V ISION OF S UP PORT.—Section 25 6 4 of title 10, U nited States Code, is amended— (1) in subsection (c), by adding at the end the following new paragraphs: ‘‘(4) A sporting event sanctioned by the United States O lympic Committee through the Paralympic M ilitary Program. ‘‘(5) Any national or international paralympic sporting event (other than a sporting event described in paragraphs (1) through (4))— ‘‘(A) that— ‘‘(i) is held in the United States or any of its territories or commonwealths; ‘‘(ii) is governed by the I nternational Paralympic Committee; and ‘‘(iii) is sanctioned by the United States Olympic Committee; ‘‘(B) for which participation e x ceeds 100 amateur ath- letes; and ‘‘(C) in which at least 10 percent of the athletes partici- pating in the sporting event are members or former mem- bers of the armed forces who are participating in the sporting event based upon an in j ury or wound incurred in the line of duty in the armed force and veterans who are participating in the sporting event based upon a service-connected disability.’’; and (2) by adding at the end the following new subsection: ‘‘(g) F UNDIN G FOR SUPPORT OF CERTAIN E VENTS.—(1) Amounts for the provision of support for a sporting event described in para- graph (4) or (5) of subsection (c) may be derived from the Support for International Sporting Competitions, Defense account estab- lished by section 5802 of the Omnibus Consolidated Appropriations Act, 1 9 9 7 (Public L aw 104 – 208; 10 U.S.C. 2564 note), notwith- standing any limitation under that section relating to the avail- ability of funds in such account for the provision of support for international sporting competitions.
