‘ §2568.Ret e n t io no fc o mba t u nifo r m s b y members d e pl oyed in support of contin g ency operations ‘ ‘The Secretary of a military department may authori z ea member of the armed forces under the j urisdiction of the Secretary who has been deployed in support of a contingency operation for at least 30 days to retain, after that member is no longer so deployed, the combat uniform issued to that member as organiza- tional clothing and indi v idual e q uipment. ’ ’. (b) CLERICAL AMENDMENT.—The table of sections at the begin- ning of such chapter is amended by adding at the end the following new item: ‘ ‘ 2568.Ret e n t io no fc o mba t u nifo r m s b y members d e pl oyed in support of contin g ency operations. ’ ’. educational institu - tions not maintaining units of R.O.T.C. ‘‘Under such conditions as he may prescribe, the Secretary of the N avy may issue arms, tentage, and equipment that the Secretary considers necessary for proper military training, to any educational institution at which no unit of the Reserve O fficers’ Training Corps is maintained, but which has a course in military training prescribed by the Secretary and which has at least 50 physically fit students over 14 years of age.
