SEC. 10 9 . DIPLO M A MILLS. P art B of title I (20 U.S.C. 1011 et se q .) is further amended by adding at the end the following

‘SEC. 1 23 . DIPLOMA MILLS. ‘‘(a) I NFORMATI ONTOT HE P UBL I C .— T he Secretary shall main- tain information and resources on the D epartment’s website to assist students, families, and employers in understanding what a diploma mill is and how to identify and avoid diploma mills. ‘‘(b) COLLABORATION.—The Secretary shall continue to collabo- rate with the United States Postal Service, the F ederal Trade Commission, the Department of J ustice (including the Federal Bureau of Investigation), the Internal R evenue Service, and the O ffice of Personnel M anagement to ma x imi z e Federal efforts to— ‘‘(1) prevent, identify, and prosecute diploma mills; and ‘‘(2) broadly disseminate to the public information about diploma mills, and resources to identify diploma mills.’’. SEC. 110. IMPRO V ED IN F ORMATION CONCERNING THE FEDERAL ST U- DENT FINANCIAL AID W EBSITE. (a) PROMOTION OF FE D ERAL STUDENT FINANCIAL A ID W EB S ITE.—Section 131 (20 U.S.C. 1015) is amended by striking subsection (d) and inserting the following: ‘‘(d) PROMOTION OF THE DE P ARTMENT OF E DUCATION FEDERAL STUDENT FINANCIAL AID WEBSITE.—The Secretary shall display a link to the Federal student financial aid website of the Depart- ment in a prominent place on the homepage of the Department’s website. ‘‘(e) ENHANCED STUDENT FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION.— ‘‘(1) IMPLEMENTATION.—The Secretary shall continue to improve the usefulness and accessibility of the information provided by the Department on college planning and student financial aid. ‘‘(2) DISSEMINATION.—The Secretary shall continue to make the availability of the information on the Federal student finan- cial aid website of the Department widely known, through a major media campaign and other forms of communication.
