and ‘‘( 2 ) in the case of a Federal employee, out of funds available to the employing agency. ‘‘(f) A UTHO R I TY TO DEP LOY THE CORP S .—(1) The Director of the O ffice of M anagement and B udget shall have the authority, upon request by an e x ecutive agency, to determine when members of the Corps shall be deployed, with the concurrence of the head of the agency or agencies employing the members to be deployed. ‘‘(2) N othing in this section shall preclude the Secretary of Defense or the Secretary ’ s designee from deploying members of the Armed Forces or civilian personnel of the Department of Defense in support of a contingency operation as defined in section 1 0 1(a)(13) of title 10, U nited States Code. ‘‘(g) A N NUAL R EPORT.— ‘‘(1) I N G ENERAL.—The Administrator of G eneral Services shall provide to the Committee on H omeland Security and Governmental Affairs and the Committee on Armed Services of the Senate and the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and the Committee on Armed Services of the House of Representatives an annual report on the status of the Contin - gency Contracting Corps as of September 30 of each fiscal year. ‘‘(2) CONTENT.—At a minimum, each report under para- graph (1) shall include the number of members of the Contin- gency Contracting Corps, the total cost of operating the pro- gram, the number of deployments of members of the program, and the performance of members of the program in deploy- ment.’’. (b) CLERI C ALA M EN D MENT.—The table of contents for that Act (contained in section 1(b) of that Act) is amended by adding at the end the following new item

(a) CI V ILIAN AGENCIES.—Section 30 4 C of the Federal P roperty and Administrative Services Act of 1 9 49 (41 U.S.C. 2 5 4d) is amended in subsection (c)(1) by inserting before the period the following: ‘‘and to interview any current employee regarding such transactions’’. (b) DE F ENSE AGENCIES.—Section 2313 of title 10, United States Code, is amended in subsection (c)(1) by inserting before the period the following: ‘‘and to interview any current employee regarding such transactions’’. SEC. 87 2 . D ATABASE FOR FEDERAL AGENCY CONTRACT AND GRANT OFFICERS AND SUSPENSION AND DEBARMENT OFFICIALS. (a) IN GENERAL.—Sub j ect to the authority, direction, and control of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, the Administrator of General Services shall establish, not later than one year after the date of the enactment of this Act, and maintain a database of information regarding the integrity and performance Deadlin e .
