and ( 2 ) be mana g ed in accordance w ith— (A) the F ederal Land P olicy and M anagement Act of 1 976 ( 43 U.S.C. 17 0 1 et seq.); ( B ) this section; and (C) any other applicable law (including regulations). (g) W IT H DRA W A L .— (1) IN G ENERAL.—Sub j ect to valid e x isting rights , all Fed - eral land located in the National Conservation Area is with- drawn from— (A) all forms of entry, appropriation, and disposal under the public land laws; (B) location, entry, and patenting under the mining laws; and (C) operation of the mineral leasing, mineral materials, and geothermal leasing laws. (2) ADDITIONAL LAND.—If the Secretary acquires additional land that is located in the National Conservation Area after the date of enactment of this Act, the land is withdrawn from operation of the laws referred to in paragraph (1) on the date of acquisition of the land. SEC.1976 . ZION N AT IONA LP A RKW IL D AND SCENIC RI V ER DESI G NA - TION. (a) D ESIGNATION.—Section 3(a) of the Wild and Scenic R ivers Act (16 U.S.C. 1274(a)) (as amended by section 1 85 2) is amended by adding at the end the following

‘(204) Z ION NATIONAL PAR K , UTAH.— T he approximately 165.5 miles of segments of the V irgin River and tributaries of the Virgin River across Federal land within and adjacent to Zion National Par k , as generally depicted on the map entitled ‘Wild and Scenic River Segments Zion National Park and Bureau of Land Management ’ and dated April 2008, to be administered by the Secretary of the Interior in the following classifications: ‘‘(A) TA Y LOR CREEK.—The 4.5-mile segment from the junction of the north, middle, and south forks of Taylor Creek, west to the park boundary and adjacent land rim- to-rim, as a scenic river. ‘‘(B) NORTH FORK OF TAYLOR CREEK.—The segment from the head of North Fork to the junction with Taylor Creek and adjacent land rim-to-rim, as a wild river. ‘‘(C) MIDDLE FORK OF TAYLOR CREEK.—The segment from the head of Middle Fork on Bureau of Land Manage- ment land to the junction with Taylor Creek and adjacent land rim-to-rim, as a wild river. ‘‘(D) SOUTH FORK OF TAYLOR CREEK.—The segment from the head of South Fork to the junction with Taylor Creek and adjacent land rim-to-rim, as a wild river. ‘‘( E )TI MB ER CREEK AND TRIBUTARIES.—The 3.1-mile segment from the head of Timber Creek and tributaries of Timber Creek to the junction with LaVerkin Creek and adjacent land rim-to-rim, as a wild river.
