or ‘‘(2) $ 2 6 , 0 00,000. ‘‘(c) LI M ITATION.—Funds pro v ided by the Secretary shall not be used for operation or maintenance of the project described in subsection (a). ‘‘(d) A U THORI Z ATION O F A P PROPRIATIONS.—There are authori z ed to be appropriated such sums as are necessary to carry out this section. ‘‘(e) SUNSET OF AUTHORIT Y .—This section shall have no effect after the date that is 10 years after the date of the enactment of this section. ’ ’. (2) CONFORMING AMEN D MENT.—The table of sections in sec- tion 2 of Public Law 102 – 5 7 5( 43 U.S.C. prec. 371) (as amended by subsection (a)(2)) is amended by inserting after the last item the following

SEC. 9 11 2 . BU N K ER HILL G ROUNDWATER BASIN , CALI F ORNIA. (a) DEFINITIONS.—In this section: (1) DISTRICT.—The term ‘‘District’’ means the Western M unicipal Water District, Riverside County, California. (2) PROJECT.— (A) IN GENERAL.—The term ‘‘Project’’ means the River- side-Corona Feeder Project. (B) INCLUSIONS.—The term ‘‘Project’’ includes— (i) 20 groundwater wells; (ii) groundwater treatment facilities; (iii) water storage and pumping facilities; and (iv) 2 8 miles of pipeline in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties in the State of California. (C) SECRETARY.—The term ‘‘Secretary’’ means the Sec- retary of the Interior. (b) PLANNING, DESIGN, AND CONSTRUCTION OF RI V ERSIDE- CORONA FEEDER.— (1) IN GENERAL.—The Secretary, in cooperation with the District, may participate in the planning, design, and construc- tion of the Project. 43USC 3 90h– 3 6.
