SEC. 220 3 .IM PR O V EMEN T S TO MILITARY FAMILY HOUSING UNITS. Sub j ect to section 2 8 25 of title 10, United States Code, and using amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization of appro- priations in section 2204(a)(5)(A), the Secretary of the Navy may improve existing military family housing units in an amount not to exceed $118, 69 2,000. SEC. 220 4 . AUTHORI Z ATION OF APPROPRIATIONS , NAVY. (a) I N G ENERAL.— F unds are hereby authorized to be appro- priated for fiscal years beginning after September 3 0, 2009, for military construction, land acquisition, and military family housing functions of the Department of the Navy in the total amount of $4,284,112,000, as follows: (1) For military construction projects inside the United States authorized by section 2201(a), $2,746,704,000. (2) For military construction projects outside the United States authorized by section 2201(b), $233,445,000. (3) For unspecified minor military construction projects authorized by section 2805 of title 10, United States Code, $12,483,000. (4) For architectural and engineering services and construc- tion design under section 2807 of title 10, United States Code, $179,652,000. (5) For military family housing functions: (A) For construction and acquisition, planning and design, and improvement of military family housing and facilities, $146,569,000.
