TIT LE I VR ELATE D AGE N CIES CO M MISSION ON CI V IL RIG H TS SALARIES AN D E X PENSES For necessary expenses of the Commission on Civil Ri g hts, including hire of passenger motor vehicles, $8,800,000: Provided, That none of the funds appropriated in this paragraph shall be used to employ in excess of four full-time individuals under Schedule C of the Excepted Service exclusive of one special assistant for each Commissioner: Provided fu r th er, That none of the funds appro- priated in this paragraph shall be used to reimburse Commissioners for more than 75 billable days, w ith the exception of the chairperson, who is permitted 125 billable days. E QU AL EMPLO Y MENT OPPORTUNITY COMMISSION SALARIES AND EXPENSES For necessary expenses of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as authorized by title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, the Equal P ay Act of 1963, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the Civil Rights Act of 1991, including services as author- ized by 5 U.S.C. 3109

hire of passenger motor vehicles as authorized by 31 U.S.C. 1343(b); nonmonetary awards to private citizens; and not to exceed $26,000,000 for payments to State and local enforce- ment agencies for authorized services to the Commission, $343,925,000: Provided, That the Commission is authorized to ma k e available for official reception and representation expenses not to exceed $2,500 from available funds: Provided further, That the Commission may take no action to implement any workforce repo- sitioning, restructuring, or reorganization until such time as the H ouse and Senate Committees on Appropriations have been notified of such proposals, in accordance with the reprogramming require- ments of section 505 of this Act: Provided further , That the Chair is authorized to accept and use any gift or donation to carry out the work of the Commission.
