Hamlin, of Michigan, lam a first lieutenant in the seventh regiment of Michigan cavalry, the full pay and allowances of a second lieutenant of cuvalry for the time from the first day of July, eighteen hundred and nxty-three, to the twenty-eighth day of March, eighteen hundred and uxty-four, when ho was mustered in as a first lieutenant.
