D. 'mc` O' eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, amendatory of the charter of said railroad company. Sec. 2. And 6e tt further enacted, That said bridge, when completed BPM2G Md in the manner specified in said resolution, and in the place and in accord- ;°f;‘:_;§nlf“ ance with the plans of the board of engineers appointed in conformity to the resolution aforesaid, and in accordance with the requirements of the second section of the resolution of the general assembly of the State aforesaid, shall be deemed and taken to be a legal structure, and shall, with the railroad of which it is to be n part, be a post.-road for the transmission of the mails of the United States. Sec. 3. Be it enacted 6y the Senate and House of Representatives ey" the United States of America in Congress assembled, That that portion of the State Aroostook co;. of Maine now included within the limits of the county of Aroostook be, l¢<=¤i<>{1 district and the same is hereby, constituted a customs collection district, to be es°“bl"Sh°d‘ called the district of Aroostook, of which Houlton, in the said county, shall be the only port of entry. Sec. 2.
