Browne, late a. volunteer lieutenant commanding in the United States Navy, and grant him a pension of thirty dollars per month, in lieu of the pension of twenty-two and a half dollars per month now allowed him, said increased pension to begin on the date of the approval of this act. Hammer, as a nurse in the service of the United States in Government hospitals druing the late war, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month, to commence from and after the passage of this act; and that the Secretary of the Interior is hereby authorized and directed to place the name of Maria L.
