Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United J 3mQS M91‘z¤¤· States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the In- P°“”‘°“ m°"““‘ terior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to grant an increase °d‘ of pension to James Morgan, late of Company C, Fourteenth Regiment Illinois Infantry Volunteers, and to pay him twenty-tive dollars per month from and after the pas age of this act. Received by the President, April 27, 1886. [NoTE BY THE DEPABTBIENT or STnTE.—The foregoing act having been presented to the President of the United States for his approval, and not having been returned by him to the house of Congress in which it originated within the time prescribed by the Constitution of the United States, has become a law without his approval.] May 8, 1886. CHAP. 297.-An act to place the name of J ohn Pruitt on the pension-roll. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United John Pruitt. States of America in Congress assembkd, That the Secretary of the In- P¤¤¤°¤· terior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll the name of John Pruitt, formerly of Company H, Tenth Kansas Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of forty dollars per month. Received by the President, April 27,.1886. [NOTE nr THE DEPARTMENT or STATE.-The foregoing act having been presented to the President of the United States for his approval, and not having been returned by him to the house of Congress in which it originated within the time prescribed by the Constitution of the United States, has become a law without his approval.] May 9, 1886, CHAP. 298.-An act granting a pension to Mary S. Webster. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Mary S. Webster. States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the In- P¤¤¤¤¤¤· terior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mary S. Webster, dependent mother of Charles T. Webster, late a private in Company H, Forty-second United States Infantry Received by the President, April 27, 1886. [NOTE mr Tm:. DEPARTMENT or STATE.—The foregoing act having been presented to the President of the United States for his approval, and not having been returned by him to the house of Congress in which it originated within the time prescribed by the Constitution of the United States, has become a law without his approval.] May 8, 1886. CHAP. 299.-An act restoring Leander C. Twitchell to the pension-roll. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United 1`roan der C. States of America in Congress assembled, That Leander C. Twitchell, Tv¤*¤l}¤lr of Chariton County, Missouri, formerly on the pension-roll bv eertiii. P°”‘°” ‘°“°’°d· cate numbered one hundred and three thousand nine hundred and eighty-two, but who has been dropped therehom, be restored to all his rights under said pension-certiiicate and restored to said roll.
