August 4;_1g5g_ Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary Julia_A. Rhoads. of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place P°““°“‘ on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the ppnsion laws, the name of Julia A. Rhoads, widow of James R. hoads, a soldier in the late war of the rebellion. Received by the President July 25, 1888. [Norrx BY THE DEPARTMENT or STATE.—The foregoing act having · been presented to the President of the United States for his approval. and not having been returned by him to the house of Congress in which it originated within the time prescribed by the Constitution of the United States, has become a law without his approval.] CHAP. 771.--An act granting a pension to Mrs. Fredericka Hauser. August 6, 1888. Ellis, formerly first lieutenant and adjutant of the Tweiityeighth Michigan Infantry, and pay him a ension as of the rank o first lieutenant. in lieu of the pension allowed him under the general pension law of the rank of sergeant of Company I, Fifth Michigan Cavalry, from and after the passage of this act. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatwes of the United States of America i n Congress assembled, That the Secretary Marx Kelley. of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place P°“°"“ the name of Mary Kelley, widow of Daniel Kelley, late private of Company B. of the Eighth Regiment of Pennsylvania Cavalry Volunteers, on the pension-roll, and pay to her a pension, subject to the rules and regulations of the Pension Office.
