August i3· 1888- Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary Ly•1ieH¤¤wkins. 0f the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place P°"S'°"‘ on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations o the pension laws, the name of Lydia Hawkins, widow of Richard Hawins, late private in Company D, Fifty-seventh Regiment of Ohio Volunteers. Approved, August 13, 1888. ` CHAP. 886.-An act granting a pension to Eliza M. Scandlin. August 18, 1268. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary E1iz=qM.Scaud1i¤. of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place P°"“°'°"‘ on the pension-roll, subject to the rovisions and limitations o the pension laws, the name of Eliza Scandlin, widow of William G. candlin, late a chaplain in the Fifteenth Regiment, Massachusetts volunteer Militia, at the rate of twelve dollars a month.
