Approved, March 2, 1889. CHAP. 468.-An act to grant a pension to William Hawkins. Mancha, im. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary mH¤Wm be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to place upon the pensionroll the name of William Hawkins, who was a private in Captain Alexander M. Houston’s company of Illinois Mounted Volunteers in the Bllack -Hawk war, and pay him a pension of twenty dollars per mont . Approved, March 2, 1889.
