S. Maddings’s company, Third Regiment Illinois Volunteers, Black Hawk war, and pay her a pen- ·sion of twelve dollars a month. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary M¤¤n¤¤¤·Ev¤¤n of the Interior be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to pay I°"°°"°'°""‘°°"‘ Alexander Evans, of Louisville, Kentucky, a soldier of the Mexican war, the sum of twenty-five dollarsa month, in lieu of the pension now paid to him.
