CHAP. 1.-An act making appropriations to supply a deficiency in the appro- Dwvmbcr 10, IM. priation for public printing and bindingx for the fiscal year ending June thirtieth, ;`—‘_—_‘ eighteen hundred and ninety, and for other purposes Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the following Deficiency appr-e sums, or so much thereof as may be necessaY, be, and the same are P"‘"°”“- hereby, appropriated out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the following objects, namely: PUBLIC PRINTING AND BINDING. Public priming and To supmy a deficiency for the fiscal year ending June thirtieth, eighteen undred and ninety, in the appropriation for the public printing for the public binding, and for dpaper for the public printmg, inc udin the cost of printing the ebates and proceedings of Congress in {die Congressional Record, and for lithographing, mapping; and engraving or both Houses of Congress, the Supreme Court of the United States, the Supreme Court of the District of Columbia, the Court of Claims, the Library of Congress, the Executive Oiiice, and the Departments, including salaries or compensation of all necessary clerks or employees for labor (by the day, piece or contract,) and for all the necessary materials w ich may be needed in the prosecution of the work, one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ; to be expended for the foregoing purposes, ratably, and in the proportion provided in the act making appropriations for sundry civil expenses of the Government for the current fiscal year PRINTING, ENGRAVING AND BINDING ELEVENTH CENSUS.
