CONTINGENT, BUREAU or Munro1NR AND SURGERY: For freight, “°”“°g°”°- expressage on medical sto: es, tolls, ferriages, transportation of sick to hospital, transportation of insane patients; care, transportation, and burial of the dead; advertising; telegraphing; rent of telephones; purchase of books and stationery; binding of medical records, unbound books and pamphlets; postage and purchase of stamps for foreign service; expenses attending the medical board of examiners; rent of rooms for naval dispensary; hygienic and sanitary investigation and illustration; sanitary and hygienic instruction; purchase and repairs of wagons and harness; purchase of and feed for horses and cows; trees, plants, garden tools, and seeds; furniture and incidental articles for the museum of hygiene, naval dispensary, Washington; naval laboratory, sick quarters at Naval Academy and marine barracks, surgeons’ offices and dispensaries at navy-yards and naval stations; washing for medical department at museum of hygiene, naval dispensary, Washington; naval laboratory and department of instruction, sick quarters at Naval Academy and marine barracks, dispensaries at navy—yards and naval stations and ships and rendezvous, and for minor repairs on buildings and grounds of the United States Naval Museum of Hygiene, and all other necessary contingent expenses, thirty thousand dollars. REPAIRS, BUREAU or MEDICINE AND SURGERY: For necessary Repklrs. repairs of naval laboratory and department of instruction, naval hospitals and appendages, including roads, wharves, outhouses, sidewalks, ` iences, gardens, farms, and cemeteries, twenty thousand dollars. AMBULANUES FoR NAVAL HosPI'rALs: For supplying two naval hos- -*-¤¤¤¤¤¤¤<>¤¤- pitals with ambulances of modern construction to replace vehicles condemned as useless, one thousand two hundred dollars. NAVAL cEMETERY, NAVY-YARD, MARE ISLAND, CALIFORNIA: Labor g{g;g,f;f;}*°· and material for widening of approaches, and repairing Rllfl painting all gates and fences; for making graveled roads and paths; building a wall at the foot of the upper terrace, properly grading the whole area, and planting appropriate shrubbery, one thousand dollars.
