Merch 2.1899- Be it enacted ln; the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the ,_*§,§,Q‘,§‘j,*"Q‘_;,;f,Q;*_· M_ Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to purchase or women. g otherwise provide a site, and cause to be erected thereon a substantial and commodions building, with Breproof vaults, for the use and accommodation of the post-office, and for other Government uses, at Anniston, Alabama. The building thereon. when completed upon plans and Limit ·>*` •>¤•¤· specifications to be previously made and approved by the Secretary of the Treasury, shall not exceed in cost the sum of fifty thousand dollars, including cost of site; nor shall any site be purchased until estimates for the erection of a building which will furnish uihcient accommodations for the transaction of public business, and which hall not exceed in cost the sum of fifty thousand dollars, including cost of site, shall have been approved by the Secretary of the Treasury; and no purchase of site nor plan for said building shall be approved by the Secretary of the Treasury involving an expenditure exceeding the said sum· of fifty thousand dollars for site and building; and the site purchased Fm ¤r¤¤¤- shall leave the building unexposed to danger from hre by an open space of at least forty feet, including streets and alleys. Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to purchase, ,hf,'§';§_;{ "“""“‘¤ °°‘ acquire by condemnation, or otherwise provide a site and cause to be erected thereon a substantial and commodious building, with fireproof vaults, for the use and accommodation of the post-office and other Government offices at the city of New Iberia, Louisiana. M“'°b 2· Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the $_Q,‘},1§,’°,§{f;,f‘,§‘§,;,, m Treasury be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to purchase a site mused. for a suitable building, with fireproof vaults therein, for the accommodation of the post-office and other Govern ment offices at the city of Annapolis, Maryland, and cause such building to be erected thereon. The plans, specifications, and full estimates of said building shall be previously made and approved according to law, and shall not exceed, for Limit ¤f ¤¤¤*~ the site and building complete, the sum of one hundred thousand dollars.
