Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United §‘;Q;}0f·,:Qm‘*:;°d States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the ' Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension law , the name of Susan D. Yates, widow of Captain Arthur Reid Yates, late of the United States Navy, and pay her a pension at the rate of fifty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. Approved, June 10, 1898. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United {,’;,·Q’_f‘;§H°“· States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the ` Treasury is directed to pay, and for that purpose there is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, ` the sum of eighty dollars to Doctor John R. Hall, of Louisville, Kentucky, in full payment and satisfaction of his account against the United States for special medical services rendered to soldier of the United States at Georgetown, Kentucky, during the late war, at the reque t of the officer in command at that time and place. States Marine Hospital Service, contracted yellow fever while performing his duty as assistant surgeon in an infected city, and having died of yellow fever at his post of duty on the twentieth day of August, eighteen hundred and ninety-three: Therefore, Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of the money not otherwise appropriated, to the legal representatives of John W. Branham the sum of four thousand one hundred and sixty dollars, being the amount of salary and allowances for two years. Approved, June 15, 1898. H. Cohorn, late of Company F, Eighteenth Regiment Kentucky Yolunteers, and to issue to him an §;•*;·F·;·m honorable discharge as of the date he left the service: Provided, That ’no pay, bounty, or emoluments of any kind shall become due or payable by reason of the passage of this bill.
