Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United £1i¤·eM-_Mi¤¤¤‘- l States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the °°°`°°mInterior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Eliza M. Miller, widow of James H. Miller, late nrst lieutenant Company H, Fifty-fifth Pennsylvania Volunteers, and pay her a pension at the rate of seventeen dollars per month in lieu of that which she is now receiving. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United ·{,:;¤1;;luF§n1;fr<:gg;•&· States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the °Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the ~ pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Joseph F. Mollere, late iirstclass boy, United States ship Cumberland, and Maynard’s Navy Battery, war with Mexico, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. ‘ Approved, March 3, 1899. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United ~ Nlfz Mg- States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the ` Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Nancy M. Lindsey, widow of William Lindsey, late of Company C, Santa Fe Battalion Mounted Volunteers, Mexican war, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in hen of that she is now receiving. · Approved, March 3, 1899. · K¤¤h 3. 1899- CHAP. 482.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to William O. Torrey. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United gigg g- T¤¤·.v,· States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the ' Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the · pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of William 0. Torrey, late assistant surgeon Eighteenth Regiment Missouri Infantry Volunteers, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, March 3, 1899. March B, 1899. CHAP. 483.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Charles Edson. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United §§:;§g;§,°,,*Q;d_ States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Charles Edson, late a private in Company C, Fifth Regiment New Hampshire Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month, said pension to be in lieu of that which he now receives. Approved, March 3, 1899.
