Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United peificicncios umro- States of America in Congress assembled, That the following sums be,

  • ”'“‘°‘°“°‘ and the same are hereby, appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to supply deficiencies in the appropriations for the payment of pensions, and for other objects, for the iiscal

year ending June thirtieth, eighteen hundred and ninety-eight. and for other purposes, namely: PENSIONS. _I¤»·¤1i<i. om. wr- For army and navy pensions, as follows: For invalids, widows, “'°““‘ minor children, dependent relatives, army nurses, and all other pensioners who are now borne on the rolls, or who may hereaiter be placed thereon, under the provisions of any and all acts of Congress, eight million seventy thousand eight hundred and seventy-two dollars and Prooiooo- . forty-six cents: Provided, That the appropriation aforesaid for navy New "°"`°°°’ pensions shall be paid from the income of the navy pension fund, so far M°°¤¤*¤· as the same may be sudicient for that purpose: Provided further, That the amount paid to each of the several classes of pensioners shall be accounted for separately.
