O. Maddux, doing business as Maddux, Hobart and Company, by reason of a deficiency aggregating thirty-two thousand eight hundred and eighty-two and five one-hundredths gallons of distilled spirits below the requirement of eighty per centum of the producing capacity of the distillery operated by said L. Q. Maddux. Sec. 2. That said L. O. Maddux, and the said distillery 0 erated by him, and the real estate whereon the same is situated, and tbe sureties of said L. O. Maddux, be, and they are hereby, released and discharged from any and all liability upon and under said assessment; and the proper officer of the Unite States Treasury Department is hereby authorized and directed to cancel and discharge of record all said liability and all lien arising therefrom. Approved, February 28, 1901. CHAP. 626.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Benjamin F. Shott. February 28.1961. Be it enacted by the Senate and House ofRe€resentatices of the United States of America in Cbngress assembled, That the Secretary of the §§gg§§I§g,§Q§;gg· Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the . ` ension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension ibws, the name of Benjamin F. Shott, late of Company I, One hundred ‘< and thirty-ninth Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry, and pay him _ a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. _ Approved, February 28, 1901.
