Townley, United States Navy, 1 Richard H- ’1`<>w¤- after seventeen years of active service, was placed 11 on the retired list 6* of the Navy by reason of disability incurre through arduous service and excessive and prolonged exposure in the line of duty; and Whereas the said Richard H. Townley has entirely recovered from the said disability which caused his retirement and is able to perform active duty; and Whereas the said Richard H. Townley volunteered for active duty and served continuously and creditably during the war with Spain; and Whereas several other officers who have been retired have been restored to and are now on the active list: Thereforethat justice may be done the said Richard H.
