Fries -and W. C. Rufhn, of the State of North Carolina, their successors and assigns, to erect, construct, and maintain across New River, in Grayson County, Virginia, at any point within two miles of the mouth of Stevens Creek, a dam and all other ·Promsos. works necessarily incident thereto -for water- ower purposes: Pro- "°h“°g°S' vided, That the said,F. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Rrxresentatvhaes of the United %iggi€§<>€PC$;*;¤;¤}°g*;i States ofAme7·ica in Oongvess assembled, at the Capital Traction Company. _ Company of the District of Columbia be, and it hereby is, authorized ,,u]§f,‘,§§§§Q§f‘ °f hues and required to construct the necessary tracks and to make the necessary connections for the purpose of operating its cars by the under- _ ground electric system and to operate the same over and along the Route- following route, namely: Be inning at the intersection of First and C streets northwest, east on C street to Delaware avenue, and thence by a loop around s uare six hundred and eighty-six (bounded by Delaware avenue, B, First, and C streets northeast). Also, beginning at the intersection of Pennsylvania avenue and Seventeenth street northwest; south on Seventeenth street by double tracks to G street northwest; west on G street by single track to Twenty-fth street; north on Twenty-fifth street by single track to Pennsylvania avenue. Also, beginning with the tracks at the corner of Seventeenth and G streets northwest; south on Seventeenth street by single track to F street northwest; west on F street by single track to Twenty-sixth street northwest; north on Twenty-sixth street by single track to Pennsylg'g;§gi,00P_ vania avenue: Provided, That for the purpose of furnishing a loop, for use when necessary, a single track may be extended along G street northwest from Twenty-fifth to Twenty-sixth streets, connecting with the single tracks in Twenty-fifth and Twenty-sixth streets northwest. mg:g*{~,'{Q;*j§,Q,L’{,‘},(f;,Q,*°· SEC; 2. That the Anacostia and Potomac River Railroad Company Extension or lines be, and it is hereby, authorized and required, within one year from °“°h°"°‘l the date of the approval of this Act, to extend the lines of its under- §round electric railroad from the intersection of First street east and street south, north along First street to B street south; thence vt est along B street, connecting with its existing Jtracks between Second and Third streets west.
