M•y2¤. lm 828.-A.p Act To amerad an Act_auth)orizingthe capstaiction ofBa1 railway, ‘*""‘— wa ,mo r,w n,an estrran ri over e imouri `ver near [Public' N°' ml Council Bind, Iowa, mmm, bgbdraska, ap rodxggd February thirteenth, eighteen hundred and ninety-one, and amended by an dict approved January twenty-eighth, eighteen hundred and mnety-three, an by an ct approved April twenty-iirst, e' hteen hundred and ninety-eight, and to authorize the Omaha Brid and Termin£ Railway Company, suceemor to the Interstate Bridge and Street Rzilway Company, to complete, reconstruct, and change a bridge for railway,_street railway, vehicle pedestrian, and other h hway purposes over the Missouri River near Council Bluifs, Iowa, and Omaha, Ndhraska. mdm Whereas by an Act approved February thirteenth, eighteen hundred and ninety-one, entitled "An Act authorizin the construction of a railway, street railway, motor, wagon, and pedestrian bridge over the ]Miss0uri River near Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Omaha, Ncbraska," the Interstate Bridge and Street Railway Company, a corporation created under the laws of the State of Nebraska, its successors and assigns, were authorized to construct and maintain a bridge and ap roaches thereto across the Missouri River between the city of Councd Bluffs, in the State of Iowa, and the lands of the East Omaha Land Company, at some point at least one-third of a mile from any other bridge, to be selected consistent with the interests of river navigation, said bridge to be so constructed as to provide for the passage of railway trains, wagons, and vehicles of a l kinds, street—railway cars, motor cars, animals, foot passengers, and for all road travel; and Whereas it was further provided that all railroads and street railways reaching the Missouri River near said point shall be permitted the unobstructed use of said bridge, and the approaches thereto, for engines, cars, and trains in the case of railroads, and for electrical or cable equipments and cars in the case of street railways; and Whereas the articles of incorporation of the said Interstate Bridge and Street Railway Company were, on the ninth day of September, anno Domini eighteen hundred and ninety-two, amended in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska, so that the name of said corporation was changed from the Interstate Brid and Street Railway Company to that of the Omaha Bridge and Merminal Railway Company: Now, therefore, Be it emwted by the Senate and Himsa of R esentatives of the Chited f_§:"f,flf,*f,’f{£,ng States of Amer/50a in Clntgreas assembled, mt the Act entitled ‘“An brain by immune Act authorizing the construction of a railway, street railway, motor, RBS5i?
