Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United cummmm. _ States of America, in Congress assembled, That the Southern Missouri ,,§§’“f,*}'{{',,S2,}i";§’,§‘i‘{{ and Arkansas Railroad Company, created and existing under the laws gyge°°i*:P§}{dg{¤K of the States of Missouri and Arkansas, is hereby authorized to erect coms}, Ark. P and maintain u brid e across Current River in township nineteen north, range two cast, of gm fifth principal meridian, in the county of Randolph, in the State of Arkansas, or at any point near said township selected by said railroad company for crossingvvsaid river with their railroad line and approved by the Secretary of ur. lzncbstmcred p¤vi— Sec. 2. That the said bridge shall be so constructed that a reason- ”°"°°‘ ably free and unobstructed passageway may be secured to all water Opening mw. craft navigating said river at the point aforesaid; and if said bridge shall be constructed as a drawbridga the draw shall be opened promptly, Harm, eee. upon reasonable signal, for the passage of boats and vessels; and whatever kind of bridge is constructed t a owners thereof shall maintain, at their own expense, from sunset to sunrise, such lights or other signals thereon as the Light—House Board shall prescribe.
