McPhee the sum of six hundred and ` seventy-six dollars and eighty-five cents, the same being the amount of a certain judgment recovered by the United States against said McPhee on the t irtieth day of April, ei¤·hteen hundred and ninety- four, in the circuit court of the western chstrict of Wisconsin, for six hundred and sixteen dollars and eighty-five cents, and sixty dollars expended for costs by said McPhee in defending the action, and which ju gment was paid in full by said McPhee, it being for the value of timber cut from certain lands in sections one, thirteen, eleven and twenty- three, townshi forty-five north, of range four, Ashland Count , Wisconsin, by said) McPhee, and claimed by the United States, and which lands were subsequently determined by the Supreme Court, in the case of Vllisconsin Central Railroad Company against Forsythe, to be owned by the said railroad company under the grant of May fifth, eighteen undred and sixty-four. Miller, late of Captain Harris’ compapg, Georgia Volunteers, Creek Indian war, and pay him a pension at e rate of eight dollars per month. Approved, July 1, 1902.
