Pension.

Chap. 1083.—An Act Granting a pension to Louis DeWitt.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Louis DeWitt, late sergeant detachment of Indian scouts, United States Army, and pay him a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month.

Chap. 1084.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to John McEliece.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John McEliece, late of Company K, Forty-sixth Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Chap. 1085.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to Sarah E. Dale.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Sarah E. Dale, widow of James Dale, late of Company I, First Regiment Illinois Volunteer Light Artillery, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

Bennett, late of Company G, Twenty-ninth Regiment Iowa Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
