Chap. 111.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to Richard L. Cook.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Richard L. Cook, late assistant surgeon, Eleventh Regiment Maine Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Chap. 112.—An Act Granting a pension to Emma Butler.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Emma Butler, widow of Alexander T. Butler, late of Company B, Second Regiment Tennessee Volunteer Cavalry, and Companies B and I, Sevent Regiment Tennessee Volunteer Cavalry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of David F. Lewis, late of Company A, Eighty-First Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Welt, late of Company E, Fifty-second Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
