Chap. 1696.—An Act Granting a pension to Mary Apple.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mary Apple, widow of Louis Apple, late of Company K, First Regiment United States Cavalry, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Marvin A. Wixson, late of Company B, Twenty-third Regiment New York Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Robert L. McMurtry, late of Company E, Twenty-first Regiment Kentucky Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Griffin, widow of William F. Griffin, late captain Company I, Forty-ninth Regiment United States Colored Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.
