Chap. 457.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to John H. Carrow.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John H. Carrow, late second lieutenant Company D, First Battalion Delaware Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Chap. 458.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to George M. Linch.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of George M. Linch, late of Company A, Twenty-sixth Regiment Iowa Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Louisa Lyon, widow of Samuel Lyon, late first assistant engineer ram T. D. Horner, Mississippi Marine Brigade United States Volunteers, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Margaret Liddle, widow of Samuel Liddle, late second lieutenant Company E, First Regiment Illinois Volunteer Light Artillery, and pay her a pension at the rate of fifteen dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.
