Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repreae¢ztatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the act of consolidation §{,",§Q’},j’j$,‘f,,§'{'{f,",§· 0, ado ted by the city of South McAlester and the town of McAlester, in guru mnlgrvj qld theqndian Territory, is approved, and that the city of McAlester is ¤p`,`ii·L°$s4,° °`" °’ hereby created a city of the iirst class in the Indian Territory, with c,§;{{d_°‘ M°·“°'*°' legal succession to all {public property now belonging to the incorporated city of South l\ cAlester and the town of McA ester, and said city of McAlester shall have power to exercise municipal jurisdiction over the area of territor embraced in and platted as the town sites of South McAlester and Mli:Alester by the Choctaw Town Site Commission, according to Act of June twenty-eighth, eighteen hundred and V°”°·*’·“°°· ninety-eight, and subsequently. Sec. 2.
