[1’¤iv¤*¤· N¤- *56-1 Be it enacted by t/ae Senate and House of Representatives of the United w_S_H,m,,,,m._ States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the R¤i¤¤*>¤¤<->m¤¤¤- Treasur be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to W. S. Hammaher, late postmaster of the city of Findlay, Ohio, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of two thousand two hundred and fifty~one dollars and twenty-eight cents, to reimburse said W. S. Hammaker for moneys by him actually expended and paid for necessary clerical assistance in carrying on the operation of the post-oflice at said city during his official term as postmaster, from eighteen hundred and eighty-five to eighteen hundred and eighty- nine, in excess of the amount rovided and allowed by the Post-Oiiice Department for said purpose dhring said term.
