Secretary of Agriculture is hereby authorized to rent offices and to employ such assistants, clerks, and other persons as he may deem necessary, in the city of Washington and elsewhere, and to incur such other expenses for office fixtures and supplies, stationery, official trav- - cling expenses, freight and express charges, illustration of the Experiment Station Record, bulletins, and reports, as he may find essential 1D P•v¤¤¢¤¢¤*<>¤¤*¤•· carrying out the objects of the above Acts; and the sums apportioned ¤¤¤1i¤¤<¤· to the several States shall be id quarterly in advance. and bulletins: Provided, That not more than (ive thousand dollars shall
be expended at Guam, and not more than twenty-six thousand dollars shall be ex%nded for the maintenance of stations in either Alask Hawaii, or orto Rico; and the Secretary of Agriculture is authorizdd to sell such products as are obtained on the lan belonging to the agricultural experiment stations in Alaska, Hawaii Porto Rico, and the Island of Guam, and toapply the money received from the sale of such products to the maintenance of said stations, and this fund shall be gvpplable until used; in all, eight hundred and thirty-three thousand o ars.
