Every applicant for a license shall deposit the amount of the license fee with the clerk of the court at the time of filing his application therefor; and if upon consideration of such application by_ the court, as provided for in this Act, the court shall determine to grant the license prayed for, it shall notify the clerk of the court and the appli- ‘ cant in writing and the applicant shall thereupon receive his license.
