prevent the authorities of the United States from cutting and removing trees or other growth on any part of said island whic may in any wise obscure the light from the light-house situate on said island or obstruct the view thereof, and no structure of any character whatever shall ever be erected or permitted on any part of said island at such . place or in such manner as to obstruct or obscure said light, and the authorities of the United States shall at all times have the right to remove and abate any and all obstructions to the clear, full, and perflect view thereof, without incurring any liability whatever for so om .
