A PROCLAMATION. AND Wnnnnas satisfactory evidence has been presented to me that the Government of Egypt imposes no terms or restrictions, either in the way of tariff rates or provisions, trade or other regulations, charges, exactions, or in any other manner, directly or mduectly, upon the importation into or the sale m of any agricultural, manufactured, or other product of the Umt States, which unduly discriminate against the United States or the prpducts thereof, and that the Government of Egypt pegs no export unty or imposes no export duty or prohibition upon the exportation of any artic e to the United States which unduly discriminates against the United States or the products thereof, and that the Government of E t accords to the agricultural, manufactured, or other products ogblhe United States treatment which is reciprocal and equivalent: ¥¤¤i¤=¤¤tL wg K Now, 'l‘nmu:rom¤, I, Wrttngu Howann Tam, President of the mm:.
